End of Trimester Two by Shane

It’s that time of the school year again, end of the trimester! We did so much things this trimester. We went on field trips to places like Marin Headlands and Chinatown which were both very fun. We also learned many things and did many projects. My personal favorite thing I did was the Leader Project because I learned a lot about my leader (Martin Luther King, Jr). We also had a very fun time at the Candyland Rally and Mardi Gras Dance. In Social Studies, we learned about ancient China and ancient India. In PE, we did flag football and bowling which were both very fun. In Expressions, we did Chinese calligraphy and a Chinese parade which also very fun. In math, we learned about garbology and geometry. Overall in this trimester, we learned a lot of new things and had so much fun while doing that.

  1. I find it interesting that you made a blog on essentially the entire trimester. Even if we didn't do a lot of things, the events were still very fun, like the Chinese New Years Parade. Overall, I think that this is a good blog, because it talks about a lot of events really well.

  3. Very true, Leading Edge provides us a systemic education experience which is very helpful. We get to do a bit of everything, and we have the opportunity to specialize in the activities we like. There is history day, poetry out aloud, and so much more. We also do fun things in class. On our field trips, we have the most fun and have fun by learning. Great Job Shane on expressing the second trimester. This trimester was great. Woo Hoo Yay!!!

  15. Very good on your post Shane. I also agree that Trimester 2 was enjoyable with the many events and field trips that we had ventured on. My most favorite thing is probably the Field Trip to Marin Headlands. I learned a lot about oceanic creatures and organisms. This trimester Leading Edge provided excellent opportunities for me and my peers to learn using hands-on-learning in all of our classes. Great job on your Leader Poster, your blog post, and the picture of the Chinatown trip. I can't wait to see what wonders will Trimester 3 bring.

  26. It looks like a lot of people had a lot of fun this trimester. I had a lot of fun as well. The Greek Olympics was really fun. The best part was especially when all of the city-sates tied. That has never happened before.
